Found this by linking from one of my followers site and I love it! Beautiful blog with sweet photos, etc.Similar idea to the day book but a good reminder to challenge myself (ourselves?) to be mindful of our homes and what we are doing...
In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.

So my list for today (Nov 24th is):
1. Set up my prayer journal (again! :))
2. Make the chalkboard I've been wanting for awhile to display scripture for thought each week/month etc.
3. Decorate joyfully for the holidays with my kiddos and keep our Thanksgiving traditions, revisit my resources in this area
4. Family Prayer time
5. Focus on our home and what needs doing - do the next thing not everything
6. Encourage my husband physically and verbally
the list could go on and on can't it? But I need encouragement at times not to get caught up in the daily stuff that is urgent and small but see the larger picture of what God has called me to do don't you?! Dear Holly,
I am so pleased to have you on board in keeping our hearts for Home. It is a huge part of my life and I pray you are blessed by participating.
I have always loved chalkboards for putting important scriptures and mottos along with favourite inspirational quotes and images.
I find it hard to not get overwhelmed in all I want to do and like you I need to just focus on the next thing. Thank you for reminding me to just do one thing at a time.
Praying for your week.
Don't you love the Children are a reward image? I do and the sentiment behind it.
God Bless
